quarter mile times?

I was thinking of taking my trans am to the track. I bought the car 3 months ago, slightly wrecked, no mechanical damage. The guy I bought it off of said that the previous owner had rebuilt the engine and turned it into a 350. Ofcoarse you can't turn a 305 into a 350 just by rebuilding the engine. I'm pretty sure it's just a 305, judging from the engine parts and configuration. Anyway it's seems to run better than a stock 305, I was just wondering what you guys were running at the track, both stock and modified, that might give me an idea when I take mine out.

From the outside, the 305 and the 350 look the same. The only way to tell them apart is to look at the casting #'s. They are on the block and heads. Go looking and you will find them, and if you post them here someone will know what ya got under there. As far as performance at the track, expect 15.0-15.9 with a 305, 14.5-15.0 with a 350, depending on gearing. Obviously these are estimates from what I have seen at the track. Best thing to do is go to your local track and give it a few runs.
Good luck

It's a performance package on firebirds, I believe it's just suspension though.
