just bought some new 1.52 ratio roller rockers was wondering if it would fit on my stock 305 there are stamped steel roller tip like these
its a bone stock goodwrench 305 and i was wondering if i would have to change any pushrods.

I highly doubt you will need a different size pushrod. The 305's on F-body car came with 1.5 ratio.

be a direct swap since it's the same thing you have now, except for the roller tip. in the future don't link to ebay since it's worthless in a few months.

do you guys know the Ft/LBS of torqe required to bolt on rockers arms on a small block, you guys think i would get any HP increase out of using the roller tips , doesnt really matter just wondering

You don't torque them down.

Do a search on the boards to find out how to adjust them. If you torque them down you will damage the engine.

You don't torque them to some ft-lbs. This isn't a F*rd or a Pontiac or something. It's a Cehvy, with an adjustable rocker system, something that actually makes sense.

You adjust them to zero lash, and then add a bit of lifter plunger preload; ½ turn on the nut is typical.

No you will probably not see any HP increase whatsoever. You might see decreased wear on the valve guides, that's about it. There's very very little benefit in the roller tip as far as HP, most especially if the rocker body is still made out of floppy chinesium sheet metal.

These are not direct replacements on an '84 305. Read the description carefully: "Guides on tips". That means "self-aligning", which cannot be used on '84 heads unless the pushrod holes are opened up. The picture of a single rocker shows that.

They don't look stamped to me, but they don't look like Comp Magnums, either.

At any rate, don't just pull your valve covers and install these things. You'll be pulling the covers again soon if you do.

any ideas on how to open up the pushrod holes.

A 1/2" drill bit.

make sure heads are off the engine.
