people running mini starters in here!

i have two studs and one male spade connector on my starter. the spade is oviously my ignition. but which stud do i use? there is on towards the block and on towards the pass side wheel. i bought it so long ago i dont know which wire goes where. any help would be great

Axle/Gears: 3.42
One should be labeled "R" and the other "S"... Hook it to the S.

If they arn't labeled, I guess a little trial and error will work. I mixed them up a couple times before and it never damaged anything.

The S is for START and is the post towards the engine block on most mini-starters. The R is for run and is only used on older cars with points-style ignitions and resistor wires or ballast resistors for the coil. Not usually used by anything since about 1975.
