goodwrench 305 ??
I've got a stock goodwrench 305 minus the smog pump and AIR equip. has stock computer controlled card with cowl induction and a 1 inch open carb spacer. Was wondering if anybody had any wild ideas about what it might be pushing HP wise. Whats the difference btwn an aluminum GM intake and a cast iron, does the alumminum have a characteristics of an edelbrock performer with EGR.

Well, if you have the peanut cam, you're probably under 200 hp.

depends on what heads you have, if they are stock goodwrench *hecho en mexico* then yeah i'd say 200hp with a peanut cam.
I have a goodwrench 350, those heads are garbage. Gasket match them suckers and open up the exhaust ports some more. You dont want to put a bigger cam with those heads because those heads suck *** to begin with. Get a new set of aluminum heads, then get a new cam. that 305 will be smoking if you do that.

Yea i hear that man , i'm not complaining about the engine i just was a little bit more get up and go . Hell I've had no mechanical problems with the engine so far and I'm just hitting 106,000 , running it on full synthetic oil and juicing it with GM Top Engine Cleaner to keep it cleaned up. Heck i've got some old 305 heads sitting around the house need to get some tool and open them up, then bring em to the machine shop to put new valves/ guides and springs and all rhe rest of the goodies.
