i messed around with my timing and i noticed that there was no mark or maybe there was on harmonic balancer but it was all faded and i coulnt really see it but it messed around with the timing anyway.then after i did this i noticed on the hood it says something about disconnecting a brown an white wire before adjusting the timing.ive been trin to look for this wire and i cant seem to find it.and my car runs kinda rough so i wanna fix it.

 

Recently I had a case of the stupids and I couldn't find the timing mark either. I could barely notice it but I had the wires crossed at the cap and it put the mark 180 degrees from where it should be. That wire your looking for is against the firewall on the passenger side. Make sure that all your wires are in place before you do take that apart.
