Is it possible to test spark with a volt meter?

i am having a slight miss in my engine under load, i just completed my TBI to carb swap and i am looking for a way to make sure my ignition components are up to par. Can it be tested with a volt meter and if so, how??

you can test continuity, but not voltage. I have no idea what a plug's impedence should be though

The plug should have infinite resistance. If you want to test for spark, you can clip a timing light onto each wire, or pick up a spark tester for a couple of dollars.
