Question about aftermarket passide alternator bracket
I need an alternator bracket, so I am looking at a passenger side mounted one, but it says the application is for SB chevys up to 1975. My engine block is from a 1990 suburban and the heads are aftermarket performance dart heads.
Put this part # in at TRD-9316 to see the bracket.
The belt routing would be just like replacing the AC compressor.
Thank you!

Block and heads don't matter.
The thing that changed, was the intake. The early motors used a stud instead of a bolt at the pass side of the water outlet, and the bracket went there. The later system has the extra bolt boss on the front of the intake.
9317 is for the later style.
