I bought this timing chain from GM partsdirect.com, and I'd like to know what is the difference between this and a double roller...can someone please provide a pic of a double roller? thanks

That is a Link-Belt style chain; yerabsic stock type. It's much much better than the cheap roller, aka "truck chain", bushing roller", etc.
Here's an actual roller one. Note the price. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=7981327096 This one has a Torrington thrust bearing in addition to the better grade of chain.
Here's the kind to stay away from. Again, note the price. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=7983149168 These "stretch" (wear out, actually) more and faster than the Link-Belt kind.
Basically, if it costs less than about $40 or $45, it's the garbage kind.
