Stubborn flexplate bolts, need suggestions before I strip them....

I'm in the process of swaping my auto to a 5spd and everything was going smooth until I got to the last 4 flexplate bolts. I've been at them for a couple hours and I fear I might be starting to strip the heads because the ratchet keeps slipping off them, man these things are on there good! I need some quick suggestions on how I can get them out. I have some new bolts to replace them so I I'm not too worried about the old ones. Any suggestions will be greatly appriciated.

Thanks Joe

not sure if i did it for the stock bolts or the 12 point arp bolts but i put a socket in my lathe to reduce the OD. it's a tight fit and removing a little metal makes a big differance. a grinder will work if you don't have a lathe.

I was using my hex craftsman, but I have a cheapo 12 point I could try. My problem is that the edges are starting to round and when I try to put force on my ratchet it slips off at an angle. I managed to get one more out so there are only 3 left now, man what a pain. I'm tempted to use my dremel w/ a cutting disc and remove the heads, but I'm not sure how well that will work.

Never mind, finally broke them loose. Took some WD-40, a hammer, and a breaker bar, but I got them! Thanks for the help though.
