TBI to Carb swap, looses fuel pressure after warm
I have made the swap from TBI to Carb, along with ported 081 heads, edelbrock intake and cam. I am using an inline return style regulator. The problem im having is, when i start the car i can adjust the pressure to around 5 psi and it will keep. Then once the engine warms up, the presure drops off and the gauge reads zero, but if i rev the engine the pressure will increase and i can see fuel through the filter, the higher i rev the engine the higher the pressure, but at an idle it doesnt get any pressure and the engine dies. Could this be something to do with the ECM maybe? If i have to i will get a manual pump. Any suggestion will be great because i cant figure it out.

Where is your fuel pressure gauge mounted? Is the engine still running when it says FP is zero?

The gauge is mounted right above the manifold. the engine will stop running if i just let it sit and idle, but like i said, when i rev the engine the pressure increases, its very wierd.

Ok, i have done some research, and found that the oil pressure switch controls the pump. Could this be my problem?
