RECALLS: How can I find out about them?

I know that there was a recall on my RS, for the gas tank filler neck..... new gas tank!
So I am wondering about the Formula...
Where can I go to find out about any recalls that are current for this car?

Thanks...

There are books titled "The Used Car Reliability and Safety Guide." I Know that there are at least two of these books that cover a certain number of years. The one that I have gives information on many different makes and models of vehicles. The information given is primarily owner complaints, common problems, recalls, etc. with each vehicle. I don't know if the books get into specific models(such as Formula, or RS, Z-28); it may just give information on Firebirds, or Camaros in general.

If you want more specifics, you may be able to find information through your insurance company. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration(NHTSA) may have a website with that info, but that is just a guess.

Hope this helps.

Just for clartiy; NHTSA's site only lists safety recalls and not quality related ones.

I started a post "I smell gas ... 91 T/A" and now have my 91 scheduled for a check tomorrow.

Then select Problems & Issues and then Recalls.
