Mid Engine build, few questions...

Ok right now the short block is sitting in the car. covered, and all. Only things connected are the tranny and motor mounts.

- I have my set of ported 083 heads, today i installed the valves, springs and shizz. But during this process, i sorta scraped the mating surface of the head. I was on concrete and had carboard down, but during te process i took a head off the concrete and it scratched in a couple places.

When i say scratch i mean with a finger nail you can barely feel it hit the scratch. but to my knowledge even a human hair on the mating surface can mess the seal up.

What can i do? Should i be ok just using copper spray and what not?

- After the heads are installed, next up is obviously the intake.

What are best hour/hp areas of the TPI intake to port?

I have already corrected a few dents in the runners. It was tricky but worked very well.

- For cleaning the IAC, how did all f you get it off in the first place. I tried and one bolt head broke off so i just said foreget it but now i'm thinking it wont seal properly again... What do i do?
