K & N Filter, Is it worth it?

I've heard a lot of good things about K & N Filters, and i've been really thinking about picking up. What do you guys think? Is it worth it, or those that have them, are they any good?
Thanks a lot!

I forgot to mention, i have a 350 V8 5.7L TPI in my Firebird Formula. Would a K&N filter be good on this?
Thanks

I would definetly get one. I have one on my 305 TBI flows much better than stock and looks better. My son also has one on his 94 olds 3.1 v6 he picked up a couple of tenths 0-60 and a couple of MPG.

Definately.. Go for it you wont regret it. In my LG4 I noticed improved throttle response.

I didnt really notice a difference in performance, but my gas mileage went up some. Also you will never need to buy an air filter again for that car so it will save you money in the long run. I wouldnt doubt that you may get some performance gains, but I wouldnt expect anything drastic.

I have a 305 TPI. I tossed on a set of K&N's, and definatly felt the diffrence in throttle responce. It changed the intake sound very very slightly too.

I would definatly get one, its inexpensive, and you will feel the benefits most likely. nothing huge now, but still a diffrence.

I put one in my GTA and my RS, the RS got a huge boost, same with the GTA, it is a must have in my opinion.

PS I put one in my dad's Olds 88 wagon and it gave huge improvements.

1992 Camaro RS, LO3 5.0L TBI, T-5, T-Tops, 3.08, L69 Dual Snorkel, K&N - Sold

Honda engines ROCK, I have one on my lawn mower but I still have to push it.
