New TPI Battery Cables

i am in need of some new TPI battery cables. i called the dealer and they dont stock them. no one near me does. i need the entire cable setup, the starter cable, alt part, and part with the fusible link and harness connector all in one piece. i need the ground cable too...

anyone know where i can get them???

You may have to find a stock cable from a different GM (side terminal) application and alter it. Many of the 1996-up V-8 GM light trucks used a very similar cable.

thats an excellent idea, i never even thought about that. what i think im going to do though is convert to top post mount. i put my new ground cable on (top post) and im just going to run my own bigger cables from the battery to the alt and starter then splice the connector portion with the fusible link to new wire and then to the battery. my only concern is this would now have the alt cable without a fusible link....bad idea?

you can get replacement fuse links from the parts house. i think they even have some with ends on them in the HELP section.

its a generic term for where they sell auto parts at, such as carquest, Oreilly, autozone & so on, they are all parts houses.
