hello all im really new to this site thing and i've been reading and learning alot. and i have 83 z28 camaro with a 305 with a shot 700r transmissions (despite what it says on teh side about my stuff) that was a friends evil doings. anywyas after having my car for only 2 years (btw im 18) i've been having alot of problems first we had to have the engine rebuilt and bored out due to bad care from previous owner. then little swtuff like starter went out etc. well after getting my newly rebuilt engine in i i have some problems. my temp oil pressure guages dont work and i would like to see how to fix them. heres a picture of the work in progress i have much to do on it and im getting there slowly.

 

Buy a shop manual and use it to help you locate the wiring for the guages. It's likely that some wires are no longer in tact or disconnected, and that your oil pressure sender is bad.
