Hey, I got a 350 TPI in an 88 formula. It originally had a 305TBI but was swapped out of a wrecked 87 Formula 350 with only 43K miles. When I first start it up, it runs like crap seriously. The entire car shakes, and when I slowly rev it, it pings alot. Also, the engine shakes. The motor mounts are new, so I can rule that out. BUT when its at about 140*, it runs and revs fine. Runs real rich too. Any suggestions? This has no mods to it. Thanks, I really appreciate it.

Did you switch out the 305 prom switch and use a knock sensor from the 350 not the 305 engine? whats the base timing at now?
