Loose this bad to a 4th gen v6?
I think I have lost compression in some cylinders. I raced a 96 camaro wit the 3.8, He smoked me. I have a 88 305TBI. Nothing major at all done to it. But should he beat me that bad, it was at least 5 car lenths. I have bad Valve Guides and seals. I get smoke. but should he be beatin me that much?
well, the 3.8 are 200 HP 240 Torque, compared to your 170 HP and 255 Torque so u should of beat him off the line, with him catching up in the mirror, but i don't know if bad vavle seals would make u loose compression being the valve are closed the seals wouldn't be exposed to the cylinder, but who knows, might wanna check ur compression. to make sure

I'm sorry to say that yeah he should have been able to take you. Do you have any mods on your car? The new camaro v6's have 200 horsepower stock. Yours has like 160-170. I've heard some irocs have a lot of trouble beating the new 6's. It's all in the technology. Your car is like 10 years old now. New 4 bangers have more horses than our cars stock. Sorry man, at least you didn't lose to a mustang....

they have WAY better gears too. 3.42s vs our 2.73s and 3.08(if your lucky 3.08s and thats not saying much).

liddle V-6 bastarsdss, i once was playing with a vortec V-6, two times i had trouble keeping, third time i vented my gas cap, at stop light,
