SERIOUSE HELP PLEASE !!!!!!!!!
i have a 91 305 tbi i have a hypertech chip i just put a edelbrock cam in 194 214 at .050 lift i went from a roller to a hydrolic i put on pacesetter headers on along with a edelbrock prformer intake for the tbi we put all on and i beleive the timing is at 6 or eight degrees TDC when i drive it it feels as if it has no power when i drop it from park to drive the rpms drop really low and the car shakes. its got a speratic idle but not really rough all the time. It accelerates slower than it used to and it worries me. Its too much money to spend and not have it work right. DOES THE TIMING NEED TO BE ADVANCED DOES THE FUEL PSI NEED TO BE CHANGED OR EVEN BIGGER INJECTORS remember the car doesnt feel as if it has get up power. weird idle and no throttle response

I have a friend that did the same thing with his car: went from a roller cam to a hydraulic cam. And it ran like poop. From his experience, and what I've heard from others, you shouldn't change from a roller cam to a hydraulic if you're gonna use the stock computer chip. And a Hypertech is close enough to stock since it's also designed for a roller cam. I guess there's a big difference between the two types of cams as far as vacuum goes, and it confuses the computer. It's just a possibility to consider.
Also, when you converted it to hydraulic did you change the lifters and pushrods? They're both different between the two cam types.
