what timing?
what would be a good set to put the timing at on a 91 305? it has headers and a full exhaust, open element.?

Axle/Gears: 12B-3.73/9"-3.89
2 degrees more base timing than it has now. Repeat after test drives until you get pinging (knocks). Then back it off 2 degrees.

Engine: TPI 305 G92
Transmission: T-5
Axle/Gears: Limited 9 bolt, 3.45
what grade fuel, if you have 93 in the tank and advance the timing then drop in 87 you will have serious pinging and overheating problems. and what 5-7kid said will work well, if you run 93 try 8-10* base timing and advance/retard from there.

well one more question... to advance the timing.. would i turn the dist. clock wise or counter-clock wise? i know it is a stupid question, but i have to leanr some how..
