I think the rear main seal may be leaking in my car. The car sat for about a year. Could the rear main have dryed up and caused a leak?

It is a 1 peice rear main. How tough is this to change in the car? Is it much harder than the old 2 peice?

 

i'd say way easier than 2 piece seal. yes it could of dried out
