Hyper tech chips and tune-ups?
Well I bought my car with the hypertech chip in it and forgot to even ask the owner if he still had the stock chip. Anyway the car needs a tune up really bad and I was wondering if the hyper tech chip would be a problem when taking it somewhere to have a tune up? There are no codes stored currently (but I'll code it again before it goes in) So any ideas here? Should I not worry about it or tell the place it has an aftermarket chip?
Thanks In Advance.

As far as I know, you should have nothing to worry about. A tune up would be the same as if it were a stock chip. Also, if your interested in going back to the stock chip, take a look at the one you have now. I'm not sure when it started but the later Hypertech chips rode piggyback on the stock chip. If yours is that way all you have to do is unplug it and plug the stock one back in.
Hope that helps!
