tested the MSD box and it tested bad...just to be sure I want to hook up the ignition system like it was from the factory to see if the car will start...I just did a cam swap and have yet to get the car started....I want to get some oil under pressure into the motor before too long.....I'm looking in the book and its pretty vauge about how to wire the coil/dist to the car...there are two pairs of quick disconect pink and white wires comming out of the coil...I know one of the pink wires comes from the ignition box and one of the white ones goes to the tach....where do the other two wires go...I was looking for engine bay pictures to see if I could figure it out but no luck....the MSD guy just told me red is positive and white is negative....so there are two +'s and two -'s hooked up to the coil???? Car is in the sig...THANKS!

i have changed from large cap hei to a small cap with external coil so far i have run the pink wire to positive coil tach brown to negative then from coil to dizzie with another two wires which use the 2 prong plug to connect
i have put up a few posts but no reply yet about these q i have as well
does the coil need to be earted to firewall ? can anyone with external coil tell me if there is a wire coming of negative side going to firewall or is it how i described above for the wire up?

can any one tell me when swapping large to small does the earth wire on the four connector just attach to th erth pin on the dizzie ? any help would be great
