Go to your local GM dealer or a locksmith. If he has a vats interrogator he will be able to figure out which value your chip had in it. If you know what dealer the car was bought from they can give you the key codes to the ignition and door. If not, a locksmith will either have to make a key by impressioning or by tearing down your steering column and getting the key codes off of the lock cylinder and then he can cut you a key. But i'll warn you..it's gonna cost you,i do locksmithing in my spare time for fun so i can tell you first hand... I noticed you have a 91 so if you gave a locksmith the vin # he should be able to cut you one with just that.

You might be able to. But i am not exactly sure. I just have all the equipment to do it the way i explained and that's the only way i know how to, not to say what you are suggesting won't work i am just not familiar of that method, if you explained it i might be able to answer that.

Well either way really . You'de probably be better off calling around to locksmith's because you know how expensive dealerships are. You could find a locksmith to do it i would say anywhere from $80 to $150. But call all around. Just to have a vats key cut alone is anywhere from $20.00 to 25.00 in my area.

The vats interrogator will tell him the value of the resister pellet. The dealership or locksmith will be able to get the key codes and cut a key then with just knowing the vin # on your car since the car was built in the 90's.

If you can find someone in town that
reposesses cars, I know for a fact
that atleast most of them can get the vats
keys made cheaper than normal people.
checck into it...

A friend of mine reposesses cars and can
make the vats keys for my firebird for about 20 dollars.
thats 130 dollars cheaper than if I went
to the dealer.

Erm, you can get the keys for your car from the dealer for about 20 dollars, if you give them the vin number.
