code 14 and 34. help

code 14 and 34. help
Hey guys, i just pulled the codes on my engine and i got a 14 and a 34. i really need help to determine what it is thats wrong. if you guys could help me that would be great.

Did you look up what the codes mean? I believe 34 has something to do with the MAF or TPS but I am just going by memory. Don't make me pull out a shop manual and I or many others should be able to help you out. Provide as much info as possible and you will get much better help.

Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: 2.77
You'll need a scan tool do diagnose a code 14; ECM is receiving a high temp from the CTS,
is Scan tool temp >130°c (266 degrees F) for more than 3 seconds
if yes
then disconnect CTS harness 2 wire connector - yellow/black wires
Scan tool's temp should be less -30°C
If yes
then replace sensor
if no
then CTS yellow signal wire is shorted to engine ground,
else CTS yellow signal wire is shorted to CTS black wire which, is ECM signal ground.
Code 34 is MAF low air flow, possible leak between maf and throttle body, or maf signal shorted to ground.
