Non tech, Why dont we have a tech file of build ups

I mean, whenever someone on here builds an engine, why dont they fill out a form and have it posted in the files section? They could list the pros and cons, stuff to look out for, and performance, weather(sp?) it be a buttmeter, Gtech measured, 1/4mi or dyno. It makes sense doesnt it?

Yeah, but the differing levels of experience / truth and usefulness that will feed into them would make it no more useful than searching the boards/archives IMO.
Not trying to rain on your parade, it is a good idea in theory, but i think reality would really impinge on it.

IROC I agree also and ED I disagree. ED you mention the word 'TRUTH' and I've got to believe that guys like you, the more experienced, would blow away any BS or at least plant a word of caution.

it maybe a good idea, a great idea, or worthless idea, but posting here doesn't get it any where. if you have an idea write to the admins and explain it to them. i tend to agree with the shorter ed that there is so many variables involved it may not be that usefull. if someone has a specific question about a part or build up they can just post the question or do a search to find out.
