Get a Hayne's maual you can use it for everything . On the web go to autozone you should find it there under spacific car . If the #'s are on your cap the cylinder's go like this . Driver side 1,3,5,7 seven being by the fier wall . Pass side 2,4,6,8 nuber eight by the wall agian . When running the wier's try to keep 5&7 from crossing . Good Luck .

if facing the engine compartment the firing order is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 in a clockwise order. cylinder number one is usually at about 5 oclock but because of timing that is just for reference. pasenger side is 2,4,6,8 driver side is 1,3,5,7. 7 and 8 closesest to the fire wall.
you have to make sure you know which post is #1 once you know this it is easy as pie. without knowing this you are screwed.

Turn the engine over until it is at 0* timing on the balancer. Take off the distributor cap and see what post the rotor is pointing closest to. If it's pointing towards the firewall, it's pointing at number 6, rotate the engine one turn to bring it around to #1. Run the plug wire for cylinder #1 to that post, and go around in the previously mentioned firing order.

I do not know If your car has a little cover ontop of the distributor cap . If it dose it has the numbers . If you are changeing the wire's do one at a time . If you have no wiers on it now look at the cap . Hold it out in front of you make sure that the reciver connetion is on the right . Now the 2 posts on the bottom are 1&8 one being on the right at 5 o'clock 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 clockwise .

calm down first. you can bump it over with number one plug pulled and wiat for compression. you could always pull the valve cover and role it over by hand and just watch for the number 1 intake valve to open and as soon is it closes you are close to TDC. you do not need a timing light. where ever the rotor is pointed is post number 1. then clock them 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2
