Help, help, help! Removed airbag from car, and car will not start???
I cut the yellow wire going to the airbag and removed the steering wheel, now the car wil not stay running? If I aply gas, it will stay running, but as soon as I let off the gas, she dies out, real quick, just no RPM's? Did removing the bag do something to the computer?
HELP!

So let me get this straight...your car was running perfect and you removed the airbag and now it won't run, right??
I've seen people remove airbags before and just put a regular wheel on with no problems.
Never heard of one not starting/running.

That is also what I thought? But, she was running great, then I cut the wires to remove the airbag, then nothing? She just won't stay idle, unless I give it gas, it will stay running, but as soon as I let off the gas, it dies??????
WTF????????
What else could it be? Runs good when I give it gas....

All I can think of is for you to try and connect the wires back together and see what happens. You may have accidentally unplugged something while you were under there and didn't realize it. Other than that, all I can say is WTF?!?!?!?!??

Check your e-mail if you already haven't. Oh,did you cut across both wires at the same time without pulling the fuse out first?

Does it set a check engine code. On your way to cutting out the air bag you may have cut through the pass key or VATS system. This system reqiures a certain resistance in line from the computer to the ignition switch to allow cranking and firing. That means it requires a reference voltage, and if you cut the wire, your car won't start. Check that
