RADIATOR FLUID LEAKING!!!.....please help!

RADIATOR FLUID LEAKING!!!.....please help!

my car was leaking radiator fluid and i saw some up by the thermostat and so i got a new gasket.....well i think that helped cuz the old gasket looked like a piece of paper!!!.....but its still leaking

i got up under the car and i think its the lower radiator hose....but im not sure.....i thought i saw some on my water pump....what could this mean??

if i had to how hard would it b to replace the water pump??

Matt, I'd suggest you take it to a shop and have them pressure test the cooling system; that'll usually locate the leak.
Otherwise, any coolant that leaks out gets blown around by the fan when you're running, and flows downhill when you're not- so where you see the coolant may be nowhere near the leak!

Depends on whom you're dealing with... if there's a garage you've been doing business with, they'll probably do it for nothing. I can't imagine anyone charging more than 10 bucks or so- it's just a small manual pump that attaches in place of the radiator cap, a few strokes of the pump brings the system up to pressure, and then it's just look for the antifreeze to find the leak.
