Questions about changing cams

Do i have to pull the engine or at least pick it up with a jack a few inches? Im wondering cuz thats what i have to do with my truck cuz the oil pan has to be dropped a bit. Im not sure if its gonna be the same way with my bird. If anyone has done a cam please let me know so i dont go into this blind.

You don't have to lift it. I changed the cam when I had the LG4, the biggest problem was the crossbars in front of the radiator, they have to bent a little to slide the cam out.
