Oil Pressure Guage.
Oil Pressure Guage.
I just put a new 305 TPI in my 1985 Iroc Z28. The car runs great. My oil Pressure guage seems to be stuck as high as it would go. It was straight up before and after I put a battery in it. The car sat on jackstands for 4 months while I started this project. Could it just be stuck and how is the easiest way to fix it

The guages in our cars aren't the best. I know when I got my car, the oil press. guage was pegged and the previous owner installed an aftermarktet one, that's probably what you'll have to do.

Hey guys, I have the same problem. I got an '87 Z28 in August and the oil pressure and fuel gauge are maxed out, the needle is up as high as it'll go. She's at the dealership right now, I'll let you guys know as soon as I get it back... Would ya look at that, just get her back
It was the lines to the oil pressure gauge. That's what I was thinking it was too, but I couldn't see all of em. I got the differential fluid replaced while I was at it, they said they think the rear end has been replaced
I wonder what gears are in it right now... I guess I'll never know.

It was the lines to the gauge on mine. It costed like 73$ something to have the dealer look at it. Said the fuel gauge problem was the sending unit in the tank. I'll wait awhile on that. They checked the throttle sticking problem and it was some of the carpet catching on the wire
And thanks Mark A Shields, I'll try that.
