Please Help Ford F250

Ok its a f250 1987 it has a 460 in it 4 speed and carbed, the problem its been having is it will start up and run fine for a day or two then it will turn over and not start at all, if i leave it alone for like a hour or two it will start up but only to do it a again within a day or two, now ive changed the coil in it hoping that was it but of course it wasent what else could it be, and i also changed the starter selnoid. any help would be great

That generation of trucks was notorious for "eating" ignition amplifier modules (that little aluminum box mounted on what's left of the inner fender). You can find a lot more detail at www.fordtrucks.com
