Crower and Eagle have stroker kits to fit about any budget. Scoggin Dickey, Jegs and Summit have the heads. They all have websites. I understand the "Being different" and not doing what everyone else is doing or I wouldn't be building a 427 SB, but one saying holds true "When it comes to power there's no replacement for displacement"

The heads to get are World Products S/R Torquer 305, best price I found was Competition Products ($427 bare, about $650 shipped unassembled after upgraded valves, springs, seals). They benefit from pocket porting (according to World themselves and every mag that's done an article on them), but full porting per the instructions in the Standard Abrasives Deluxe Porting kit is the route I went.
A stroker is going to require externally balanced damper and flexplate. I did determine a one-piece rear main crank is available, but never established for certain a 153 tooth flexplate is. If 168 is the only thing out there, you'll have to address starter issues.
For "different", it certainly qualifies. I considered it, finally decided to avoid the hassles and stick to the "work-in-progress" in my sig. Should have it running in a couple of weeks. Will be searching out unsuspecting stock 350's and 5.0's after that...
