Hey all I am having a problem . My 10 bolt is going bad. I was told that it has lots of slop in it. Is there any place out there that makes a good bolt in that is also good for the old budget.....

are you looking to replace the whole housing and all and are you looking to go bigger or stay the same size?

 

I think I need the whole thing mine is pretty bad. I have 3.73's in it and are going to stay with the same ratio.

I am looking to replace the entire unit. I just don't have 1900 for a 12 bolt. I love my 3.73.

For about half the cost of a 12 bolt, you could have a 9 bolt which should be more than sufficient.

There are some in the for sale section or check your local yards. When it is time for better gears (up to 4.10) and/or a new series 3 posi carrier, I have those for sale. Axles I would get from Moser, but my stock ones have held up to 1.7x 60 foot times.
