Open Air Element and water pump - unrelated-

I bought a K&N air filter for my L03 a little while ago, and would like to think I did not waste my money, although I would like to put on an open air element. Is there any open air cleaners anyone has seen that would fit this?

Also, I need to replace my water pump, any recomendations?

Thank you

There are plenty of aftermarket open element air filters you can buy, most of them found at AutoZone. Although you might have a hard time finding one small enough to fit the stock size air filter (and therefor I'm guessing the same size K&N).

As for your water pump issue, Stewarts!

Ermm.. I think I payed around 80 or 90 for mine, after tax & shipping or whatever else went into the cost of it.

I also went ahead and bought a high-flow 180* thermo while I was at it. *shrug* why not? heh

In any case, I've definately been very happy with the pump since I've got it, even though I did have a problem with the pulley bolts shearing off... But they were the stock bolts that came with the car, and had nothing to do with the pump itself. (I think I torqued them down way too much.)
