I am replacing the spark plug wires, rotor, and cap on my 305 tuned port. I purchased Accel rotor and cap..came in a kit, relatively inexpensive. I wanted to get Accel 8mm wires, but cannot find them anywhere for my vehicle...not custom fit anyway...just universal fit, meaning i would have to put the ends on..something i dont know how to do and dont want to really try and then mess it all up. So I had to get Xact wires..they are also 8mm...but I was wondering if anyone who has the Accel's...where you got them for our cars and how much they were....thanks.

I got the accel 8.8 wires and I had to custom trim them. I really am not a big fan of the wires though since they don't block a lot of the electric load and will cause radio interferance and stuff like that. As for trimming the wires it really isn't that bad, you just cut the rubber part to length (leaving a little extra), then leave about a half inch of wire sticking out, fold it over and crimp a lock connector that is supplied. It's kind of nice because it will allow you to run the wires where you want. If I had it to do again I probably wouldn't get the accel wires though...

Like stated above I would go with another brand preferablly MSD, but I was in a pinch at the time and went to Advanced Auto Parts, I'm sure Trak Auto and Autozone, sell them as well.
