Cam, head, and intake combo ???

Ok, I want to buy the cam and heads soon and match them to an intake to get down the road.
I have never done this and have no idea even how to.

I have pretty much decided to copy someone who has a good setup.

So....what have you got and how did it work?

Numbers are good.

Well we really need a lot more info on what you have in mind for this setup, like mtx28 said. But if you want to look over my setup, you can at my website.

Ok...

At first I had planned on about $1,500 for heads and cam, and then save for an intake a little down the road. But now that I am seeing the nice heads are kinda expensive I guess I could go $2000 for heads and cam. And again, save for the intake.

I'd like (obviously) to get a combo that will give me the greatest horsepower I can.
I'd like to do the cam, heads, and intake and get the car tuned and leave it at that until I need a new motor.

I noticed that "Traxxion" seems to have a very good setup. Running mid to low 12's with AFR heads, cam, and mini-ram on a stock L98.

Anyhow, I wont be doing it by myself, I'll have help.

Actually Trax went mid 12's with the AFR's, comp cams 218/224 and the long runner setup.
With the miniram and larger cam I believe he is now closer to 11's.
I am going to go with that cam but will probably try TFS 23* heads to save a little money. Oh, you will need to do some tuning also.
