Ok so check it out i switched my stock coil for an Accel performance coil part#140011
it runs fine up to about 35mph but after that or if i gun it it starts feeling like its starved for fuel and then starts backfirering and engine gets really hot, so i switched the coil out with another accel coil and it still did it, put stock coil back in now its running normal. pls help

Did you wire the coil backwards? Try switching the + and - connections.

no its not possible to wire it backwards the clips will only go on one way

That coil looks like a capactive discharge type coil. Your stock system is inductive discharge type.
