Jegs or Summit racing fuel pressure gauge

They're both $20 and exactly the same it looks. The Summit site says it's chrome plated steel, Jegs says theres is encased in stainless. Aren't the the same thing? I looked at them and it looks like only the trim ring for the glass face is chrome. It looks like the case on both of them is stainless. What do you guys think? I don't like Jegs, had too many problems with them so I want to just get the Summit piece. It's only $20 so it's not a big deal but I just thought I'd figure out why they list them as being different materials.

i'd buy autometer from jegs if it were me. i'd go with the stainless one, even if they look the same in the catalogs.

Chrome and stainless steel aren't the same material if thats what you mean. Totally different compounds. Doesn't really make a difference in an FP gauge..but I'd rather have stainless.

Yeah, sometimes they toss in a generic picture if they don't have one of the actual product immediately available (or for whatever reason they do it, but they do).

Don't waste your money on the $20 Summit gauge. I went though two before ( Leaked, and would not read correctly) I settled on the Autometer one.

hmmm....you think I'm stupid jester? of course I know the difference between stainless and chromed steel! I know they're the real pictures because they are the only ones that have a 0-30psi gauge and both pictures showed the 0-30, they don't list any other company with a 0-30 and besides, I'm cheap.
Could it be they ARE both the same with just a different face? Both look to have a stainless case but a chrome trim ring.
