NTP sealing?

On fuel systems do you use anything to seal NTP fittings? I know that AN fittings don't use anything. Thanks.

Its NPT (national pipe thread)

I use some fuel safe thread sealant or teflon tape.

fittings that use the THREADS to seal, use teflon tape or paste.. dont use tape on anything that might be damaged if a piece goes into the system (nitrous systems, fuel systems, ect)

if the fittings use a seating surface to seal, such as flare fittings, AN fittings, ect.. do NOT use any form of sealant on the threads.

if the fittings use a Oring seal, just make sure the ring is oiled before putting the fitting in.. do not seal the threads.

Permatex thread sealant with teflon here, too. It's good stuff.

How about on N2O lines too, and solenoids? I got a kit used, but the guy that had it before did a good job sealig but an ugly job. I want to take it apart and do it again cleanly.
