advertised 270/280

Ditch it.

It has too much "advertised" duration compared to .050" duration (i.e., the valves are made to "leak" for a subsantial time, which hurts performance). It doesn't really have enough lift; more lift is always a good thing, up to the mechanical limit of the heads and valve train; you should shoot for around .475" to .480" if the valve train is stock.

That cam lacks what some people call "intensity". It's "lazy".

Still has too much "advertised" duration compared to its .050" duration, a worse problem than lack of lift... you'll lose the race (badly) against somebody with an otherwise identical motor but a better designed cam.
