The Money Pit

My car just keeps sucking me dry of my money. After all my last repairs I had my car running better than ever. Then one day while pulling out on the road pretty fast, getting on it hard , I heard this noise. After I reached my destination I free revved it with the hood open at the TB and heard a knock when it would come off the rev. Its a main bearing or rod bearing I think. Because you can't hear it at the valve covers but you can hear it real good from under the car at the oil pan, I also have bad oil pressure and I hooked up a manual gauge and Im only getting 10psi at idle and I used to get 30psi. This lack of pressure Im almost positive is because when I replaced the intake manifold I cleaned a bunch of sludge out of the lifter valley and I was careful not to let anything fall into the oil pan , but it seems that some did because now my oil pump screen is blocked and now Im getting crap oil pressure.

But if you fix it all now, you'll basically have a brand new car when you're done!
