Starts! 5 seconds later it dies! Help!

Ok I just finished my 305 to 350 swap and I go to start it! It starts! Whoohoo! Then it chokes off, so I check the plug wires and the fuel pump and both are fine! I check the engines codes to see if there any problems and no there's no stored codes! Any thoughts! I've done engine swaps before, but never with anything computer controlled. I'm little unsure that I have the vacuum lines in the right spot and I've got one I have no idea where it goes! Help please!

"Chokes off?" Are you running a carb?

No it's TPI! Yeah it just chokes off. It's like it's running out of fuel, but I know the fuel pumps working.

Car: Yes
Engine: Usually
Transmission: Sometimes
Axle/Gears: Behind me somewhere
I know the fuel pumps working
Well then that's probably the problem right there.

Sounds to me like the fuel pump isn't working, after the 2-second prime shot. Which of course isn't a fuel pump problem, but rather a wiring or ECM type issue.

Put a fuel pressure gauge on it, and see what the fuel pressure actually is while it's malfunctioning, instead of just assuming that it's doing right.

I just bought a gauge at lunch today, so I'll give that a try. Thanks
