should a compression check be done with engine warm or cold?
Iv heard that doing it with the engine warm can cause the plugs to sieze, however i thought the engine needed to be warm so the rings and stuff would be as the engine normaly operates. but howver i don't wanna be climbing in and under a hot engine with hot exhaust manifolds. all the cars iv done compression test on before iv done with engine warm, but then again they have all been 4 cylinders w\aluminum heads.
