Ok I was seing my idle yesterday and I turned the car off. I went to crank it back up and nothing. its acting like the nuetral safety switch, but I put those 2 big wires together. but sometimes when i got to start it that security light stays on. I dont know whats going on help me!!

I am having the same sort of problem. see post....alarm tech needed please????? My car will attempt to start but then noting. Sometimes it wont even crank at all. My security light will sometimes stay on and sometimes won't. The car is stranded at work for the second staight day and I am going to try to bypass the vats tomorrow. I don't know if that is the same problem you are having but just wanted to offer my 2 cents. Hope it helps.

 

yeah I think its the vatts but I doubt understand how to do it like the tech article says to do. How hard is it to do?

 

I tried to bypass the vats today and I don't know if I did it right cause nothing happened. Check the techical articles for instructions and if you figure it out please let me know.
