bad sputtering / jerking
my car is a 1991 firebird, v6 3.1 automatic, this problem started about a month ago and has progressivly gotten worse. latly when i start her up the idle is rough, but the rpm stay steady, but when i hit the road thats when i gets bad, starts jerking and sputtering pretty bad, again the rpm is staying steady. ive also pulled a code, 32, the erg has been recently replaced, so my next guess would be a vacume leak, i would hope thats the problem, just wonding what everyone else thinks. thank for the help in advance
The symptoms you describe could be caused by weak ignition or a lean mixture condition. Ignition would include spark plugs, wires, distributor cap, rotor, and coil(s).
Lean mixture can be due to vacuum leaks, inadequate fuel pressure, or clogging/failing injectors.

well i was having problems with my injectors awhile ago took 6 months for 3 different shops to figure out it was the fuel injectors, but i bought new ones and it was running fine, i have also check fuel pressure and its just right, so next i shall have to buy a vacume tester and work my way around i guess, also added drygas and fuel injector cleaner into tank to see if it would help, no difference......i have also recently replaced plugs, wire, cap and roter as well
