What parts to handle 1300hp?
Me and a buddy are building up a truck of his, and one of his goals is 1000 rwhp, on a dynojet dyno, through a 4l80e and the 12 bolt, after its beefed up some more. So that leaves us at about 1200-1300 hp needed at the crank. This will be a show truck, that gets driven on the street, and at the 1/4mi track, and possibly some road racing, so its going to get used quite a bit, and very differently.
The plan is twin turbos, something around T66's, at somewhere around 25PSI intercooled, but that is latter down the road. Right now were wanting ideas for parts in the bottom end. Heads will probly be AFR with a large chamber.
As far as a block, we are thinking of using the classic 010, with block filler, and splayed caps, with possibly a main gurdle.
Money is no object at this point, just becuase of the time its going to take to finish his 61 Apache.
So far we were thinking a billit scat crank, or a callies, not sure on witch series for callies, and have yet to get prices on their cranks.
For rods we were thinking Oliver billit pieces.
And pistions, maby JE?
Any ideas or input are appreciated, we just need to be pointed in the right direction on who we need to go to for parts.

Just wrote up an estimate for a guy that wants to build a TT small block for his truck last week, lol. It wasn't cheap. Assembled and dyno tuned was close to 20K$
Dart Little M block, Callies crank, custom Oliver Rods and custom Venolia pistons. King Allecular bearings and our custom ring package. Set of CNC'd and hand finished Brodix T1's.

Who do you work for, or the company? We would like to do it for a little cheaper then $20, but start getting the parts now. If you could PM me or Email me the list that you gave that guy @ MaxxMitchell@kc.rr.com i would really like that info. and possibly some info on what he was wanting to do with his.

There's probably not a whole lot of guys on this board that have built an engine that you're talking about, Dialed_In may be the one, but at the level of power you're talking about and the fact that you're asking the question, would lead me to advise that you have a shop that has done it, put it together for you.

1000HP + is a big number and probably 99.999% of us on here will neither make or see an engine with that kind of power. Other that watching Horsepower TV or something
Heck im not even sure if theirs more than a handfull of people here putting more than 500HP dyno proven to the ground.

In my neighborhood, there are 3 cars that have a combined 2500 HP to wheels.
The Mustang with 1200hp has about $20 or so thousand in the motor. The other 2 cars, a 600hp MKIV Supra Single Turbo and a 700hp 94 Corvette with a single turbo have about $7K each in the motor.

True it is probly a goal the we might not see, and spending 15k on it wont bother us too much, thats pretty reasonable seeing how much we are asking from just 350 cubic inches. A more experienced engine builder will definitly be involved.
