Rocker, cam and carb quetions
What is the advantage of full roller vs. roller tip vs. stamped rockers? I know the rollers produce less friction but is there a noticeable difference? Has anyone ever checked on a dyno? I know the manufacturers are quick to say 3-5hp gains but does anyone really know?
Same type of question about roller cams. I know you can have more aggressive grinds but is the gain in the grind or the 'rolling' of the lifter? I guess it's a moot point because you need the roller to have the grind but I'm curious.
Also, anyone using Holley's Street Avenger carb? I am looking at the 670cfm for the BBC (467).
