I am going to port my TBI heads , run a ZZ-4 cam , put on a 1,000 cfm throttle body on a Vic Jr. EFI intake , with long tubes and true duals . I'm just curious about what people will think / say . I am going to do this , so this spring I'll let you know how it all worked out . It will be tuned by a friend of mine who is very good at tuning also . This is on my 305 .

 

go ahead and pick up a set of 416 or 081 heads and port them. the 187 heads that are on the tbi units are really worthless...even with porting.

i've seen fully ported/polished tbi cars barely break into the low 14's/high 13's....my 305 with bonestock 416's went 13.03@103mph
