just cleaned up the block with some degreeser and dried with compressed air wd40 combo. anywyas checked clearances on crank (new scat 9000) and checked EVERY bearing, all standards. this is for my 400 sbc. good to put it in now? do you install timing chain gear before or after install? if so how? and should I bother upgrading my main cap bolts to ARP? 2 bolt 400 '509' block. I was going ot cement it but seeing as how its going to be a DD. not going to.
