fuel problem

fuel problem

got a serious problem, car wont start, i think its not getting any fuel, i usually here the fuel pump prime and now it doest, i had to replace the battery and put a new one in now no fuel, what should i do, i have to have the car to emissions in a few days, thanks a lot for any help

check your relay. jump the orange and grey wire to see if the pump comes on. If it does then the relay is most likely the culprit. If not, check the connectors at the tank and hopefully it isn't the pump itself.

how do i jump them, just cut them from the harness and wire them together ??????????

grab a piece of spare wire or use a paper clip and some insulated pliers.

If the engine crancks but no fuel check the fuse next to the battery. Its on the fender next to the battery. Open the protective case and you will see it.
If that does not fix the problem there is a wire that you can cut and splice in a power wire to see if the pump works. However I think its the fuse. If not I'll let you know how to hot wire the pump. Or u can ask trickster on the Electronic board!!!

the fuse is good, i had this problem before, and i ungplugged some relays and plugged them back and it worked, but not this time

well i unhooked the battery then hooked it back up, and it fired right up? dont know why it did this before any takers?

I bet your terminals werent all the way in or stripped!! The ground on the block can also be the culprit.
